Of all the male voice choir pieces Gareth Glyn has written this one seems to be performed
most. Here, three choirs come together under the baton of John Eifion, with Rob Nicholls
at the organ of Prichard Jones Hall, Bangor.
One of Gareth Glyn's best-known songs, setting words by his father, the poet T. Glynne
Davies. It expresses the affection of the poet for his town of birth, and his longing
to return there. Soloist is John Eifion Jones
Cyn Cau Llygaid
O Sole Mio (Soloist John Eifion Jones)
Mansions of the Lord
A rare piece of film from 1976 of the Choir with Shirley Bassey at Harlech Castle.
The Choir were commissioned to promote the Portmeirion No6 Music Festival in Portmeirion
This Music is a new departure for the Choir but even though we do say so ourselves
- it works brilliantly. Enjoy.
