Originally a Christmas carol in the musical "3-2-1", this setting of Cefin Roberts' words by Gareth Glyn has become something of a standard for choirs of all kinds. Here it's given the blockbuster treatment in a concert to celebrate Gareth Glyn's 60th birthday in 2011, and involves vocal and instrumental soloists, choirs, ensembles, harps and organ in an arrangement that begins quietly and slowly build to an enormous climax.

Of all the male voice choir pieces Gareth Glyn has written this one seems to be performed most. Here, three choirs come together under the baton of John Eifion, with Rob Nicholls at the organ of Prichard Jones Hall, Bangor.
